Okay, I finished but didnt do the play by play that I promised... I apologize. I had my wife handing me the pliers and so I had to go fast while I had her help!!!
All said and done, I think it was well worth doing, easy-medium difficulty, somewhat time consuming to do it right, but overall pretty fun. The fun part is when you are 'ringing' it back together and you pull the leather over the seat and look at it, amazed that it lines up and fits sooo well.
I have never done any ulpholstery work before and I think it turned at 95% perfect. 5% could have gone smoother had I known that the seams on the inside need to line up perfectly to not leave dimples. I figured this out quickly but had no energy to redo the two seat bottoms.
Only thing that I screwed up was re-installing the driver side seat. The front right bolt crossthreaded and when backing it out, it broke the welded-down nut off, now I need to cut the bolt off to fix it. YUCK.
I will put up pics tonight of the completed installed deal.
Tired and mad at the bolt MW

Thanks...
Just plugged in the seat massagers...
Very kewl for long drives and has a alternating 'alertness' setting that keeps you awake.
I just finished the center console and have to say, I am really impressed with how easy the company made things to install.

I bought it from www.veneerz.com for pretty cheap. Real wood, grain matches.
However, doesn't fit extremely well around the stereo/ac. Overall sizing is off a bit. It is shiny and not satin like the factory wood.
I just used the shift plate, cup holder, and door window controls pieces.
Worth the $120or so when all said and done.

pcmw - How's the color match compared to the doors?

Manaray, color match is Perfect. 100% exact.
However the grain is more detailed in the new leather. Very nice, in my opinion. Much softer than even the leather in a dealership new Lexus.
Ryan asked for pics of the dash kit. So I snapped a few for you guys.
I held the cupholder up to the factory dash so you get a good look.
If you need any more pics.....let me know..

Sharon.....I posted the details in the first post.
Sandstone matches the 92-96 Tan Leather SC interior. You can email Eric over at www.leatherseats.com for any other color you need matched..
You can also have different color inserts, perforated or not, Suede trims etc...
If I had a Black on Black SC, I would go with Black on Grey or Graphite just to be different. I do LOVE the perforations. I originally was worried that it would get messy looking if I put Leather Conditioner on it, but it was not an issue.
Hope that helps you out.

For info about these covers go to this older thread....

I will try to post pics step by step.
Preliminary look at the color, quality, and install. Looks great, matches perfectly (Sandstone color to match 92 tan SC interior), and the install looks straight forward.
The 8 motor massage option is the only tricky part. It requires you to map out and carefully cut out placements for the indivdual motors. This looks REALLY easy but will take some time to work out the placement. Controllers and wiring look as easy as a pair of foglights.. we shall see.

Ryan,
no problem.
Take into considerationt that I did not use the radio/ac parts of the kit because of fit and the cut out for the labeling was poor.
Overall I am happy with parts i used.

For people interested, I'm working on seeing if I can get a group buy on these...please hold off if you want to save some money.

A group buy would be great. Then I can host an IRC chat help session for all of those who are going to DIY it.
Maybe Eric will let me group buy a kit for my wifes car.
By the way, wife and I helped my sister-in-law move today. Afterwards we drove home with the 8 motor massagers on FULL. Felt like a champ when I got home.
