RELAY them! you are pulling to much amperage at one time to start them. The factory wiring was not enough for mine. Get a 4 or 5 prong relay. Take your headlights "hot wire" and cut it. The side coming from the car "not the connector side obviously" will go to 86, a wire coming from your battery's + will go to 87, a good - ground source will go to 85 and then the wire going into the hid ballast will come from 30. I would run the wire from 30 back into the plug that you cut so you can just plug it in to the ballast. Good luck

^ thanks for the info...however that really pisses me off they offer it as a simple plug and play kit and it doesn't work as advertised..

Hi,

Definitely not a result of a relay as the ballasts are low draw.

To me it sounds like a loose connection. Already send you a PM :-)

sounds like a ballast issue, are you running a relay or are you plugging it straight into the ballast?

@ sc400 no relay with this kit
i also believe one ballast is bad from when i tried the driver side ballast on the pass side it still did not work..however the driver side bulb with the pass side ballast did work..
but i never could get both to work at the same time..

as far as a loose connection..it could be the issue but if it is i doubt its right at the connector on the car..or the kit it self..i definitely made sure everything was snug and tried extra hard to make sure that the kit was making good contact with the head light plug(car side)..

Xenon is definitely staying in touch and helping to resolve this issue which i REALLY appreciate from a company..

like said i just wanted to try to get this done asap and well 100 heads are better then one right?...thanks again for all the info so far..

but still why wont the pass. side kit work on the driver side?...i mean itll turn on..but for about 30 secs then go out.??

actually imma try one more thing..
ive talked to a few friends that pointed at ground...which it very well could be an issue with that..
and i tried the "broken" ballast using the - from the battery and the + from the headlight connector..
but never tried to do this with the pass. side kit on the driver side..so i think ill give that a shot as well..

ok so..i feel sort of like an idiot after all the testing i have done on this..

come to find out..the fuse under neath the hood was burnt on the driver side..swapped out the 15a fuse with a new one..BAM both hid's work!!!
im still clueless as to how the bulb got power with the fuse being burnt out but it did so it through me off for sure..

id like to thank everyone here for there help..especially Steve from Xenon Depot..he called my house and helped me go over some things was incredibly nice and stood by his product willing to replace any thing that was wrong..id recommend him to anyone!!! thanks man.

so any one having a similar issue..take the fuse box off under the hood check the two 15a closest to the driver side wheel and make sure they are good!!!

thanks again everyone...
