Default HID's wont ignite?

just ordered a kit from xenon depot..and im being a little impatient..i wrote him already but id like to see if i can get this figured out faster hehe..

so anyway its the volt digital hid kit...its a simple plug in play..i dont see how you can install it incorrectly honestly but either way i double checked and everything looks right...
however they won't turn on..
the stock bulbs work no problem
i checked voltage from the head light wire itself..it works..
i checked voltage before the ballast good..
then the two wires running from that to the hid itself has nothing?

so did i just get a faulty kit from the start or is there something im missing etc?
any help is always appreciated..ty

Did you try reversing the polarity?

had to do that with mine. The little clip on the side of the plug won't be clipped on anything, but it holds. Just pull the plug going into the transformer, turn it around and plug back in.

yea i did that..and one side works great..the other side will flicker when i first start plugging it in then nothing..so i pulled the pins out of the plug to connect it directly...still a flicker then nothing...the original light bulb plugs in fine and fires right up...

so overall the reverse polarity worked ty..however im having trouble with the driver side coming on all the way... i was thinking about cutting and splicing but i really rather not..i think imma unhook the pass. side and plug it in to see if maybe the hid kit is the issue or if its the plug car side...

UPDATE...so i tried the driver side kit on the pass side(which works) and it still will just flicker as im plugging it in then nothing..

any ideas?..like said i removed the pins from the connector that goes into the car headlight plug so its a good connection for sure..and still wont kick on just a slight flicker then nothing...

more news..woohoo..
so i tried the driver bulb with the pass. ballast..it worked

then i tried driver bulb with pass. ballast on driver side..came on for about 30 secs then back off..

one thing i did notice however tho..with the lights in the on position..the high beams come on but are REALLY faint..hard to see now its a little darker i noticed this..

now whats weird about that is..if i disconnect either high beam they both turn off and the driver side low beam as well...however the pass low beam(hid) stays on...

so do i have a ground issue or something somewhere i need to figure out?

thanks for all your help.

Hey I just bought a kit as well and I'm having the same exact issue as you. Steve told me to check connections and swap bulbs to see if the problem follows. Im gonna send you a PM.
