I average 12mpg! Would be nice to get 14mpg! But then again, my leg is sore after I drive because I push the pedal so hard.

Good luck!

Try to figure out the idle issue, its supposed to be 600-800. My SC only idled that high on a cold start but went down after it was warm so maybe you have a temp sensor thats not telling the ECU that its warmed up??
Cool maybe im on the right track. I just ordered a oem one off driftmotion. Im going to clean my IACV also and see how if that helps any mpg.

MAF, O2 sensor, clogged cat, leaky injector, bad timing, Worn engine

These are some of the many possibilities.

An ecu going bad is something that rarely happens.

Yep.. you've done just about everything else. How about also change the fuel filter? You mentioned one cylinder might not be firing.. Thats an easy test and covered somewhere in youtube. Might not be of the same car but the process/steps are the same.

I havent changed the O2 sensor yet. Wouldnt all of these throw a code? Or is the obd1 ecu just oblivious to it sometimes? I know my other OBD2 car will throw a code if you look at it wrong. Clogged cat...Wouldnt that make my cat glow red? I do hear some popping sounds in the exhaust after I turn it off. I figured it was normal.
