Default Manual transmission guys - 5k+ RPMS - How often?

I drive my car relatively aggressively, and I usually keep it above 3k rpms as that's where the power is. Every now and then I'll rev it almost to the redline. How often do you guys do this? How aggressively do you drive your manual tranny SC's?

I could never ever drive this car in auto form.

I don't beat on mine often, but when I do I usually ****** 2nd gear hard enough for the rear end to get a little loose. The car honestly is too slow to be very fun to beat on.

I think it all depends on what kinds of cars you're used to driving. If you come from boosted S14's maybe it's too slow, but in manual the SC can move a little bit. I've stayed even with Tsi's and GSX's, which I think are kind of quick.

I drive her really hard come to think of it, then for the ladder part of the drive I calm down and let her rest.

Then again it all depends on my mood!

Never had a ticket in my dawg . I was actually zoned out once going 80 on the 101 and all of the sudden a car next to me honks- it was a scottsdale cruiser. The cop gave me a thumbs up, sped up to 90 and went on haha

In the MKIV or the SC? My buddy got pulled over one time in his crazy jetta just so the cop could see what he had under the hood.

I rarely take mine to 5k....These motors make no power n-a so it's kinda pointless....and my car is slammed on its nuts, so I'm always dodging potholes anyway.
