If I get a decent quote on installing the turbos I'd probably shoot for about 100 extra HP.

If your only going for 100hp over stock, the stock auto will hold just fine. I have been running 9psi on stock compression for well over a year now, and have no issues other than traction. I would suggest waiting and getting an R154, cause like most people, "low" boost just isnt enough and you will want more later.

clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and other things that require for the 1jz/2jz+r154 swap= $500+

still need to add some of those parts to the cost of the w58 too, so its not as simple/cheap either way, not to mention you forgot the clutch lines, slave/master cylinders, pedal set..but why spend all that money on a transmission that has been proven to fail and isnt much stronger than the stock auto? especially for only 7-9psi(+100)? pointless right?
