Default Resetting fuel gauge?

Looks like I screwed something up when removing / opening my gauge cluster to replace a couple of bulbs. Now the fuel gauge sits at full when it should read 1/4 to a 1/3. I'm sure I didn't touch any of the needles, so I'm not quite sure what went wrong.

Is there any way to reset the fuel gauge? I tried disconnecting the battery for 30min without any luck.

honestly im not sure how this happened..however i would remove the cluster and make sure everything is put together correctly..not missing any screws etc..
i believe from what i noticed that three screws go into the fuel gauge..
you know the main board..the 5 screws on the left hand side if you're viewing the back..3 of those go into the fuel gauge so make sure they are in there and you didn't have any left overs...also just as a safety precaution make sure the ribbons at the top are secured...

i know its a pain trust me..ive had to take my two clusters apart at least 3-4 times each in the past few days experimenting..

Delicate piece of *"@+

Took it out again to doublecheck everything, found nothing, put it back again and now it works again. BUT ... now the temp needle is out Oh well, looks like I'll have to experiment some more ...

Hey man we replace them all the time. Anytype of moving around can make any of the clusters go to hell. If all your screws are in the correct place then the only option is to replace it. sorry to be the bearer of bad news man.
