Well today i was in somewhat of a hurry and i went over a speed bump quite hard. the front tires went over then right after the under carriage hit the bump hard with a thump.

Now I notice a kinda metallic sounding rubbing sound coming as i drive. When the car is parked idling, there is no sound. As i press on the gas the sound comes back as the car rolls.

I looked under all sides in 110 degree weather burning my knees on the ground, and still cant pinpoint why its making this sound.


I thought I hit something and something came loose but I dont see anything.


Does anyone have any idea what it can be??

Hmmm... I wonder if there are any exhaust heat shields under the car that you might have hit.

Thanks guys. I will check soon. It so hot outside. Hopefully it nothing bad or major. This car been having bad luck lately.

 

exhaust part, bolt, shield, flange.. shouldnt be anything major. good luck man.
