well...that is a technical question and somewhat vague.
Four large adults will make any car rub if they are obese.
20's will rub if the wrong offset.
Makes a huge difference if the car is lowered and how far it was dropped. (I guess it would be lowered if someone put 20's on it or it would look like a Hummer)
So, based on a 255/30 tire, correctly offset, and lowered 1" with eibach springs, filled with 4 reasonable 150-225lbs adults, no problem.
Hope that helps.

If the 20" combo has the same overall diameter (255.30.20 does) as the original specs then it will behave the same as a car with 16" wheels with the original specs. If you have an inch drop, well thats more of a disadvantage (1 inch less to work with).
For example, on my OEM wheels (essentially same overall diameter as my current setup) I had 3 friends in the car. In the back seats I had 1-270 lb friend and 1-220 lb friends (yeah, we were packed in tight
) And the car did not rub unless I hit a bump or a dip a little too fast. If I had an inch drop then I would have had to be really careful.

I've had six people in my SC without the back end dipped down into the well, so four people with a one-inch drop shouldn't be a problem (buying some stiffer shocks will help too). I weigh about 130, and the other five were girls from 100-130 each. That's about a 700 pound load.
