Hehehe..I think he was kidding...no one in their right mind would do spinning wheels...I think the new Davins are much cheaper now...HRE no longer makes their wheels (thank GOD!)...dunno who makes them now...

Davin Owners = Ricer with some money.

20x9 +30 with 255/35/20 and the rear is 20x10.5 +29 with 285/30/20. What do you think?

OMG, I can't believe you bumped this ancient thread...

fender work, fender work...roll and some neg. camber to fit that wide rear tire...

I had to tony. Mods don't like me starting new threads.

Listen, my other SC is running 275s no problem, you think 285s need rear fender modding?

Also on the front 9 inch, there is 255 rubber, do you think I should go 235s on the front on the 9 inch width 20 inch wheel?

Appreciate the help, prior to dumping like 5K into wheels.

235's in fine on a 9inch rim. I'm running 225's on a 9inch rim right now on my other car so does not rub.

It's not the 285 that's the problem, it's the width & offset that will make fitting that 285 a problem.

20x10.5 +45 with 285 no problem...

20x10.5 +29 with 285 rubbing, rolling, neg. camber required...

Use this calculator to determine where a wheel will sit compared to one that's on your car right now...
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I am running 245 on a 10" rim as well as -2 neg. camber...my rear fitment is 19x10 +25...

My suggestion is, get the wheels you want, make the car fit the wheels

Good luck!

Thanks Tony. THe wheels are gorgeous with super DEEP lips. Air Freight from Japan. That is the only reason I am considering them.

2 things wrong with them:
1) They are 20s, and I prefer 19s.
2) Like you are saying, they will require lots of work to make them fit

19's is not one of your options? I would just go for that. But in your case, 18's with a drop.

Well HELLA, this setup is only 20s. It wasn't for sale, but after talking to the person, it might be for sale. I like the design and all. I left them a message, asking if they will let it go without tires, so maybe I can fit new tires on it.

Never wanted 20s, so not sure how it will be. WIth stock suspension, probalby look like 4X4, and dropping it, will require lots of fender work and what not.

SIGH.
