Currently using Flexalites, have not had any issues with my car over heating at all sitting at a stop light with my A/C full blast in the hot summers in Oklahoma. I put at least 200 -250 miles a week. Temperature needle rises to normal and stays there, have never seen my car run hotter than normal.

^, That is correct.
That 160 - 220 range would be considered "normal". This "normal" would still be within manufacturer's specs. Nothing to be alarmed about.
To be more exact, I have not since seen the gauge reach it's threshold and go past it to tell me that it is running above spec. In any case the temperature needle, if functioning correctly, will still tell you whether your temperature is above normal or within specs by visual layout.

sc300 fans push around 3200 cfm ...you can use a lincoln mark 8 fan/shroud setup it does over 4000 cfm it also is a 2 speed ...but you would have to have a 40 amp or higher relay

I've had electric fans but I switched back due to the temp going up just a tad. Plus the noise was a fail for me. I didn't have the shroud and I'm sure that would help. Currently I'm happy with the clutch fan, cali heat, and driving hard 100% of the time.
