Ignition problem

My 94 sc4 sounds like an old man choking on donut during ignition. It's mad embarassing when I start my car up in front of other people...
What could be the problem?

Try tune it up.

Have you tried tune up?? I have just finish mine today and it runs great...Basically, check( change if necessary) for your ignition wires, change ignition caps and rotors, spark plug, check or change air filter as well. These are the main things. Goodluck.....
