Adding to these instructions; there's a rubber liner that sits on the bottom of the housing that makes it hard to come out sometimes. Slight pressure downwards on the bumper helps at times. One more thing, there's a pointed pin-like alignment piece that sits in the lower corner near the front of the housings. If you're not carefully pulling it out, it could scratch the paint.

For anyone who wants to do the black chrome but doesn't have a spray gun,
http://www.alsacorp.com/products/kil...hostchrome.htm
AlsaCorp is one of the better chrome paint suppliers.

It truely is very easy to do. Once you get your lights off of the car, take all bulbs, any wires off, and unsrew any screws holding the light together off the head light, stick the headlight in the oven (one at a time), for 5-6 minutes @ 250-270 degrees. When you take them out of the oven (you will probably need a flat head screw driver to help pry apart) pull the lens off of the head light assembly. If you do your highbeams like I did (mine were glass) becareful with the glass. Once you have the lenses apart unscrew the chrome peices from the assembly, use 400 grit sand paper to scuff the plastic(chrome) peices so the primer sticks to the surface better. spray the peices in primer and allow the primer to fully dry (according to the directions of the product you use) after the primer is completely dry, spray the peices again in the color of choice, (following the paint instructions on time again) I did two coats. Once everything is dry, put the headlights back to and place back in the oven @ 260 for 5-6 mins, take them out put screw back in and ur good to go.
While your lens are apart this is a good time to clean them very good before reassembly.
Hope this helps, please feel free to ask anything else
