Once the tire wear starts to look uneven, it's time to flip the tires. Not rotate them. Actually remove the wheel, dismount the tire, flip it over and remount it. You will have to put it on the opposite side obviously because you are running directional tires.

With a camber kit you would more then likely have to raise your car up.

Just pay attention to the tire wear and flip the tires sooner so you can get more life out of them
Just wanted to mention that, as a rule, this only works for non-asymmetrical tires !!

i buy new rear tires on avarage every 2-3 months. and when i remove my tires, there's about 95% perfect tread left...from the middle outward. And 225-35-19 tires aren't readily available/cheap.

ignorant? yes.

wasteful? yes.

does it look hella good? YESSS

Yes you can unless you're thinking of asymmetrical tires. The only thing when you flip directional tires, you will also have to rotate them left to right.

My 275/35 rears lasted about 6 months. But they were slightly used when I got them. And it would have lasted longer if I didn't have an open diff and hitting corners hard causing my right rear to spin. The other side still had enough tread to last at least another couple months.

if there's a specific "inside" and "outside" indicator on the tire, No, you cannot flip directinal tires. I think you got confused by what i meant when i said "flip".

if there's an "inside" and "outside" indicator on the tire like this one, u cannot flip it over and mount it on the barrel, or the directional tread will be wrong.

and i'm not really trying to have negative camber wear show on the face of a flipped tire either, lol

That's why you have to set your camber equal on both sides and set the toe correctly because if you are wearing only the inner without at least the middle, most likely your toe is way off.

Also don't wait until it's completely smooth before you flip them.

You are thinking of asymmetrical tires which say "inside" and "outside". These can't be flipped. Only rotated.

Directional tires say rotation with an arrow facing one way. These can be flipped. But not rotated left to right.
