Title says it all, I know were all love our beautiful cars, but have you convinced a friend or family member into buying one? I have, I got my friend to buy a sc400, now he wants to build one with me, he wants to make 6-700whp I was contempt at 400.

after driving my sc around winder for a year i noticed recently i wasnt the only sc driving around anymore, there is like 3 or 4 driving around here. one looked modded others are stock

i had a random guy come up to me at autozone and tell me he loved my car, now hes driving around in a jade green one and he was driving a bmw before.

A friend of mine liked my sc so much after i did a 1JZ swap, that i talked him into buying a single turbo 1jz sc. after a couple months he realized that SC's are money pits, he gave up on it and sold it, now he drives a tundra lol..

I was convinced by redphoenix. Well...he didn't have to convince me really. He just said he had a manual SC400 and that I could too. That was about 3 months ago, and I now have a manual SC400. lol

yeah, i got my friend to get one. he wanted an sc300 5spd, but could only find a sc400. he had it for only 3 months but he traded it for a honda (he's a huge honda fan)

No, for a few reasons:
*my friends that are into cars are smarter than me to buy a money-pit SC....
*some others have more $ than me and buy something new & fancy...
*all my other friends that aren't into cars, are limp wristed and drive something like a stock accord.

I was one of the only SC's around for six months and all of a sudden everybody is trying to buy SC's. I've had a bunch of friends that want to buy one, but they don't have the cash. Even my parents have offered to buy mine from me on numerous occasions. It was like nobody wanted one, and then I started modding mine and now it's the hottest car on the block.

I thought about it, but I almost hate to give up the exclusivity. That sounds bad I know, but around here the SC is different. I don't want to start a movement.

I feel the same way. I wish I would've kept my car a secret or something so I could stop the copy. I like rarity of the SC's. Even the SC430 isn't that common.

for awhile me, my roomate, and a couple buddies all had boosted SC's..

now i'm the sole survivor on my 3rd SC lol..

there is honestly just nothing cooler in my price range IMO

I refuse to do so!...I love standing out in a sea of Civics,240SX's and FC RX-7's at local meets...I like the exclusivity of it.
