Hi there...thanks in advance for reading this post!
I'm looking to see if anyone out there has any experience bringing in a used vehicle to California? My vehicle is "used" (over 7500 miles) and in great condition with current registration (1997 SC400) and I'm wondering how much of a hassle (or not) it would be to register it in California, i.e. smog, title and fees, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

you'll be fine. all you'll have to do is take it to a ref for brake and light inspection. then get it smogged and pay your current registration fees. don't stress you're safe. Unless you have modified ANY of your emission equipment. then u better fix that. If you're stock, your fine. =)

Hi JustChill...thanks for the reply! The car is bone stock and not modified, and I was worried about emissions (heard nightmare stories about spending $$$ to make it CA certified but those weren't Lexus cars).
Much appreciated!
