Thanks for the info guys!
i agree with megamax that instead of putting a lot of money in this car jus save up and buy a newer car lol...the thing is tho i love the way SC's look when theyre done right. its a bummer that lexus stopped making sc3's and 4's..(im not into sc430's lol)

You can supercharge the 1UZ and run in 12s for 1/4 mile. Total cost? How does $3K sound to you?

I made my own work and made a turbo system instead. But my friend Lextreme designed the infamous supercharger bracket called "The Fish" and it's already used successfully on some members' car including SC400 and LS400.

Actually, if you do your own work and can get a good deal on a good used supercharger, you can trim the price down to $2K.

I believe it can fit both Vortech and Procharger due to the variable holes on the bracket that allow both superchargers. You can P.M. for more info. I'm not trying to sell anything here, but I'm trying to help out on the supercharger setup.

if u r gong 2 do a 2j or a 1j the sc400 is the wrong path 2 go, remember it a v8 so u will need 2 change a ton of things, if i were you all find a sc300 like i did, since i live in nj sc's are and abundance and so are finding motor, i can get a gte motor with an auto trans and wiering for 1500 buxs and know pplz in queens NY that r very good with these motors.

well i have a 400 and iam going a jz route and the differences between the 300 are negligble(you can see other 400 swaps by other members). there are differences, but not enough that it should scare you away from the 400 swap..
