Finally Single, 1JZ

Finally Single, 1JZ
After several years trying to blow my twins, they just hung on even with the boost turned up to 14psi. So I pulled the trigger and went single anyway. Anyone looking for replacement stock Turbos PM me.
Now there is only one problem, the manifold blocks the nipple that is used to recharge the A/C. I have to have the line moved or the nipple moved. Other than that she is golden.
Here's the Specs and a picture:
1JZ-GTE with machined head/valves and seals.
Precision Billet 6262 .68AR
Drewgo 1JZ Manifold
Brian Crower 264 Cams
R154 5-speed
TRD LSD
550 injectors w/r. box
NEO AFC
Customs Exhaust 3"/3" out.
Dyno: 409whp @ 19 psi no torque due the dyno wouldn't register the rpms

Bro i have been waitin on this car to go single for a while now...glad ur twins never gave out on u....it actually gives me hope that i can save to go single before they blow..lol cuz i am also at 14-15psi on the twins
anyway when i go single i was lookin at a few turbos that i cant decide from
-Precision Billet 6262
-Garrett GT35R
-MasterPower 60-1
-or with the DriftMotion 60-1 complete turbo kit...
As you can see im not lookin for anything too big...i want a decent size turbo where i can have fun in the city but still be able to have good top end, and i feel for a 2.5L
a 61mm or 62mm will be perfect...
Where do u hit full Boost with the 6262??
LMK what u think would b the best turbo, my power goals are 400-500whp

I think nothing you put on the 2.5 will compare with the spool of the twins. Now with that said...There is lag but it's weird because the 2.5 is so responsive and revs so quickly that I don't miss the almost instantaneous boost of the stock twins. The 62 spoils up about 4000 rpm but by 5000, I am shredding tire through the first 3 gears. THe blitz bo sounds vicious. I also use a 46mm wastegate from driftmotion. I will try to get some video this weekend to post.

5spd + 4.27 gear + stock twins = no lag...LoL
i have the Tial 40mm but didnt weld it on the piping cuz i have the 11lbs spring in the tial bov and didnt kno how that would react wit the stock twins..so i decided that i was gonna use the stock bov and the 50mm jus incase but never got around to welding it on so im jus on the stock BOV for now..smh
anyway, how much did u spend on the turbo setup, i dont think u can go wrong with the driftmotion turbo kit, complete kit for what jus ova $1500, good quality too
