front nose of car
i am pretty famous for being a perfectionist, i have a problem with the front end of my lex, from a distance, it looks nice, all back and shiney, but when you get close to it you can see all the bug and crap stains on the nose of the car, u guys know what im talking about? ive had it buffed, waxed and everything, i dont know what to do. I belive bra's are only for women so i refuse to put one of those on the front. somebody has reco to me to get the nose painted, does anybody know a good place in the tri state area where i can go and have this done, somebody told me that it would cost around 200. would it look the same as the rest of the car or could people tell that the car was painted?
ok talk to you guys later

Welp,
If you truly are a perfectionist, then you need to repaint the car, not just the nose.
Black cars are notorious for never matching after being painted. I would repaint the entire car with Black Dupont Imron paint with no tint. Never again will you need to fix it unless you smack something. In that case, the black will always match....

I]Car manufacturers usually put extra paint on the front bumpers. You can most likely color sand most of the blemishes off. My SC300 had all the rock chips color sanded off last week and it looks great.[/I]
WHOA there, don't SAND anything. You might go through the clear coat. There's a couple of things, if you have BUG stains, then you can use a claybar and get that off. If you are talking about chipped paint and other damage to the paint, only thing you can do is touch up or retouch.

Nope. You can get your car color sanded and they will take a tiny bit of the clear but the chips will be gone or greatly diminished. You just cant do the process more than once, maybe twice depending on if it has been done before on your car. There are no more visible chips on my black car from this process. Let a professional do the sanding though. It is nothing to worry about.

I just met up with PCMW here and after I left I managed to grind the bumper over a parking stop while parking ot grab a quick Cheesesteak.

Speaking of the Village akm, have you been to the erotic bakery? I'm in Suffolk County, in Lindenhurst, whole town is a bunch of gearheads. Didn't realize the NSX was a lease. Let me know when you'd like to meet up, no problem to clean up that SC. I may be in the City one day this weekend, gotta head over to 26th, over by Lex (as in Lexington, not Luthor ), but you'll obviously have to come to me so we can work on it in my driveway, PM me and i'll send you back my digits, always glad to help a CL member.
