Depending on the amount of power you are looking for it will certainly end up costing way more to make boosted power levels the NA route.

For the 400 there are headers. I think there is a group buy going on right now for the IMF ones.

nitrous-oxide...a 75shot is more than safe. Other than that, headers, full exhaust, and a BFI, your pretty much out of options.

TM engineering runs a drag sc400 NA just a shot of nitrous. So yea BFI is the cheapest easiest way to add noticable power with a K&N or type of high flow filter. Full exhaust would be next. Maybe bypass the fuel pump ecu. It does involve cutting wires. But I did it on my sc300 because the ecu died but it along with a bfi made my car extremely faster than any other sc300 I have ever driven. I figure It would do even more for the 400.

You can add valve springs, cams, 2uz/3uz bottom end, headers, intake, aftermarket ECU (will need to raise rev limit to take advantage of springs and cams). You could in theory make 400hp with a high revving NA 1uz. Will be a lot of cash though.

Fuel pump ecu by the back seats behind the rear left paneling. clip the red and green wires and connect them together. causes fuel pump to be on full pressure at all times. didnt notice any worse gas mileage just increased power. Simple but strange it made a big difference.
