I've gotten that one a couple of times. There are a few college girls that drive red Solaras with chrome rims that apparently look "just like your car".

Can't hate on stupidity, I guess. Although maybe I should start asking them if their expensive purses were bought from WalMart, just to give them a taste of their own medicine.

A GTO owner thought my car was a Vauxhall because of the Griffin Emblem.

While fueling up at the local CostCo, a woman at the adjacent pump stared at the car for several minutes and finally asked "What kind of car is that ?" (even though the L logo was evident on the nose).

I said, "Lexus SC - 1992".

She said "Sure is pretty."

"Thanks."

93SC, that is completely insane. Unfortunately, with what I've heard about Cali cops it's not only possible but probably happens more than we think.

I've had a few folks ask me if my 97 was a Mustang with some new body kit. I should probably just start saying yes.

Alls well that ends well, I guess.

I have a question, though. If they take your booze illegally when they stop you and the charges are dropped- do you get the booze back? Just a thought, and completely off topic.
