1jz Engine Art?
So I was just going to do the usual powdercoat but then I thought theres gotta be something more creative. So heres what I came up with.
step 1: sand the valve covers to hell and back
step 2: hit them with grey polishing compound
step 3: hit them with tripoli compound
step 4: slather a little mothers metal polish
step 5: engrave designs into the metal
I still have to finish the other valve cover and do the charge pipe and intake pipe once I get the turbo in. opinions?

Looks great!
Very unique, IMO much better than spraying it a random candy color

Looks great actually. What I'm going to do is make custom waterslide decal on my engine cover, and follow the design all over the engine.
Did you do all of that by hand?

Please don't be offended, but this looks like a girl would do. Unless if you are one?
But very unique in its own way. Great job!!!
