Better gas mileage with 97-00 ECU?

in my 99 im averaging 21 with my 93 i used to get 24 but that was a manual trans. i think the best shot is the 96 & 97 ecu but i would just go for a manual trans

swap a gte and get alot better mpg aristo swap i got 32mpg i dono what i get now with single turbo, but should be same maybe better..

Yes I should also mention that when my foot isn't in it (ahem... ) I get about 28MPG on my GTE. Low compression off boost means it can run super lean, therefore minimal fuel per stroke. The ECU definitely takes advantage of this and you can tune it out to be better. Low side I get about 9MPG. Lol. Seriously. 9MPG
