Talking My IS-F Inspired LED Instrument Cluster

Finally after 5 years or driving around with a dead instrument cluster, I got mine custom retrofitted with LEDs

I had to go through so many hoops to get it done, as there is nobody that can do it locally or competently unlike other tasks. Sure, anyone can get a paint job or build a 1000 hp 2jz money if you have the money. But with our clusters, nobody seems to know how to do it.

I let a guy attempt to upgrade it with leds. He soldered in led halos but ended unable to figure out how to illuminate the needles, which ended up costing me more money because I had to buy another cluster because for spare parts because some of the work performed was irreversible.

Luckily, a local member on here took his time to help me out and build me this cluster after a few years of pestering him. Everything works, including the dimmer, no flickers! Now I am going to have a hard time keeping my eyes on the road!

X2 on who did it. Yours looks amazing, especially the blue LEDs. I need this done on mine, since my needles are burnt out.

That looks awesome! I was thinking about putting LED's in my cluster but I wasn't sure how to do the needles. Does OLT use LED's like this too?

My RPM needle is starting to go out...I want to try this too!
I think your friend could make some coin retroffing needles
with custom lighting for members.

thats exactly how I want my cluster to look! I'll wait till something burns out first, don't want to mess with a perfectly good cluster now.

O.L.T. Has been doing this for years...Blue waterfalls, as he calls them. He can do them in 20k MCD I believe, nice and bright even in the day. How did you not know this?
