Default My new purchase

Picked up a Garrett GT35R this weekend. What you guys think? Should I use both water and oil cooling or just oil? I read on here you don't need to do both? <that true?

Use both! The turbo will last a lot longer.

use both and see if you can find an anti-serge housing for the cold side.

nice turbo. use both. garrett are little $itches when it comes to taking abuse and a lot of heat compared to holset and borg werner. it will definitely last longer. if you have the fund i would highly recommend an oil cooler with a thermostat as well.

i have seen cars making 650awhp on a gt35r at 18psi. with a proper setup it can be fun to say the least.
