What does it take to beat a 911 T?
I'm referring to the 2001-2004 turbo models. I know there was an X-50 package or something with a few more horse in the early years.
So what kind of power do you need to match a 0-60 and 1/4 mile times?

alot: 996 turbo is about 6-700lbs lighter, has approx 200 more hp.
so, presuming a stock 911 turbo, you would need (at least) approx 504bhp to match the power to weight ratio.
then you have to factor in gearing (too lazy to google all that...)

Well an x50 takes it up to 450hp and standard it's at 420hp. I raced a standard 996 TT in my full bpued 6 speed MKIV and from 60-120 my door was at his front bumper when we shut it off so super close. To safely beat one, you're going need about 500wheel. If you can get to about 420 wheel then it's going to be all on the driver.

I'd say about 500 horsepower to the wheels and you should be good.

If you want to do 0-60's you should get a different car, supra's/sc's with big turbos are really only good for one thing, roll racing/hwy racing.

you do know this is the SC section, and not the IS-F section, right?
