DIY Red-Out Tail Lights for you 92-94 people. Only $4 and not permanant!
No more painting with hard to find red paint!
Go to an auto parts store and buy the 3M Lens repair kit in red(duh)
I suggest the 3M tape because the width of it is perfect for the top section of our tail lights
1 roll should be enough for both sides.
Clean the surface of your tail lights and wipe them dry
Apply slowly across each side and use a credit card as you do it to eliminate bubbles
Once covered, cut and trim around the curves with an exacto knife of some sort. I used a blade and it worked fine.
Here's a picture of the left side completed and you can see the comparison with the right side. It looks great from afar and you can't really tell theres a film on there until you get right up to it.
If for some reason you don't like it, just simply peel it off, and no residue will be left.
Post up pictures if you guys decide to do this!
