of an '92 SC400. Black/Tan combo with gold trim. Shoe size: 20". I'm just falling in love with it right now. First date was a blast. Got this by luck basically. I work (or worked, quit after I got it.) with an attorney and her husband (attorney as well) had one sitting at his office for 3 years. "Something was wrong with it", they said. He tried to sell it to me one time but his dad wanted it and would not hand over the title. Eventually, he decided his dad didn't need a "junked up" car so he decided to sell it. A dude had gave him an offer but decided to see if I still wanted it. Heck yes!!!!! I bought it for $1,500.00!!!!
First thing I did was to buy a battery because it was dead and you could tell the battery was old. It tried to turn but it wasn't catching. My friend noticed the fuel pump wasn't running. We went and bought one. Found these forums and there was a thread pointing to Lextreme for a step by step on how to replace it. Followed it and TADOW!!! Cranked right up!!! Smoked a little but hasn't since.
That week my friend traded his GS and asked me if I wanted the wheels. Got the wheels and tires for $450. And I also had to fix the A/C. Toyota said $3,000 to fix it. My mechanic (master Toyota Tech) told me $470. Been running it ever since. I haven't even changed the oil(stupid I know) but I will do it probably tomorrow!
Here's how i got it...after i washed it of course:
And here is after I threw some d's on it!:
Next up is some tint, of course, then some sounds, then drop it. Not too fond of the wheels, size or style, but they are growing on me. Looking at some 18" TSWs, staggered of course. Not sure about a muffler upgrade either but time will tell.
Love these forums though. Thanks for all y'alls help. Didn't know a darn thing about Lexus until this. I'm more of a Toyota man...might even change it into a Soarer...

Thanks. Yeah, I really don't like the Blk/Gold thing happening. I wanna go to black or carbon fiber. And yeah, I thought the size was going to be too much but the ride hasn't changed and there is absolutely no rub. I might just paint some of the spokes...professionally of course. Make it look like a 5 spoke (or really 10 spoke). Does anyone know how to photoshop that?

That was the same thought I had when I saw it. I thought he was going to sell me a jalopy with cracked interior, horrible paint, flat tires, non-working electronics...But it was great. I yanked it out of him so hard his shoulder must still be hurting!!!

204,000 miles. Not bad for a '92. You car is awesome. Love the wheels. As a matter of fact, I looked for a set for a bit but could never find them. What I really want is a set of TSWs though.

Nice dude. I'm actually going to the Lowes Speedway car show they have in the summer. I think that's in a couple weeks. Maybe we can meet. Know anybody else in the NC area?

I know there are a couple of other guys on here but they're all scattered about. There's another guy that lives in Statesville as well, he has a NA-t sc300 I drive by him all the time lol. A meet sounds good too.
