AAA rocks!
Thanks for all the compliments and responses...as you can tell I'm really excited to begin my relationship with the SC!
To answer a couple of questions, yes I did purchase it from a really nice lady in Illinois via Autotrader, and although a 98 version would be nice with the VVTi, new transmission, etc., I hear the internals of the 97 engine are more durable? I saw a 98 in hawaii a couple of years ago but I didn't have enough dinero back then...
Registered/smogged the SC today and was a bit worried but all went well. If you don't have a AAA membership get one--they were SO fast and COURTEOUS and took care of transferring my title from Illinois to California, and transferring my vanity plates from my 4Runner to my SC--and getting my 4Runner regular plates. Waited probably a total of 10 minutes between 2 visits and it was so smooth and seamless it felt like the SC cruisin' on the freeway lol.
Anyways just got adolescent giddiness from my car being "legal" now, so I decided to attach more pics. All I need is a good tint and that is all for now. I'm gonna keep it stock (maybe upgrade to some 17" or 18" GS chrome spoke wheels), add the K&N air cleaner and maybe the Tanabe Touring Exhaust (any opinions on its performance?).
Thanks again for your support and see you all out there!
