I'm looking at the same headunits you are. There's a shop in Santa Clarita that was selling them for 450 and 550 installed(depending on which model you got)

LOVE it.

I have this and hate it with a passion.

There's been countless times that it has led me nowhere and touchscreen response time is horrible. Navigating through its user interface just sucks; this thing runs on an ancient Windows CE operating system. The only thing I use it for is for hands free bluetooth and iphone playback through the aux in (the built-in ipod interface blows chunks). My iphone is now my dedicated navigation device.

Really? I love mine. I never use it for GPS because my iphone is my nav device as well. I think you need to update your firmware because my touchscreen response time is fantastic and I have the latest update! Also, I use the built in ipod interface and it works like a charm! Couldn't be happier

Google the model and download the firmware onto a SD card and pop it in!

I just got my SC300 a couple weeks ago. The previous owner had some weird setup so I ripped it out and am putting something new in. Where I'm confused is he recklessly wired things as he saw fit. So I'm unsure what exactly the plug looked like that plugged into the back of the stock stereo. I'm unsure if this car ever came with a CD-Changer to start with. What I do appear to have back there are two strange looking black plugs that went to what appears to be some factory amp. Are those what plug into this harness that was linked to on Amazon? I guess that's where I'm currently stuck, is which wiring harness I need.
