RSX and MKIV seats are a downgrade IMO. If you're looking for a pure sport seat sure, but the sc seats are like driving on a couch. Super comfy.

SC seats are still old engineering design. Try sitting in new Lexus for comfort

Agreed,

I love my stock seats.

Would only change them if really necessary.

Good luck on finding some seats that suit you though.

I doubt they bolt right in, I am getting a set myself and if they dont bolt in which I think they wont. I will be making the adjustments to make them work. Prob a little re-welding here n there

Now the 430 seats... that's interesting. Those are very comfortable and offer more laterally support than ours.

I wish my SC's seats felt like a couch. They're hard as a rock, but they're not too bad. Do the new Lexus' have really soft seats? My friend's old school Lincoln has the softest and most comfortable seats I've ever felt. I want seats like that.

So the MK4 Seats fit, and are a direct bolt in correct (electronics too, motors, etc?)? Mine are cracked so I need replacements anyway. Do they hug you more during a turn than the stock SC seats? Are they comfortable enough for long road trips? I only ask because I know my SC seats when all shinny make me feel like I'm on a slip-n-slide when hitting good g force but I could relax in them all day.

I've sat in a sc400 with the Acura RSX seats.
And I was very impressed. They felt race car-like, and hugged your body but still kept a tad of softness.

They were later model seats 04-08. But the guy had to make a couple of welds, here and there.

I'm going that route when mine wear out.
