My motor burnt out so it stays in the down position Definitely search though, this has been covered many times. Some people use the s2k antenna others shave it and use a shark fin antenna. Options are endless

same here. Dead motor, so it has the short mast pulled up, everything else is down, might be 4'' or 5'' tall right now. Have been thinking about the s2k antenna, but it really doesnt bother me the way it is.

+2....bought my ride with a dead motor so I went with the S2K antenna. Went with my whole "black and white" theme for the exterior so it worked out for me in the end and I still like the way it looks. Mind you it serves no function radio wise since I have a carputer setup in my car. The antenna is purely cosmetic

I love the s2k antenna looks slick

Don't mean to jack thread. But I noticed when replacing my rear speakers and headunit I have 2 antennas wires. I also hear the motor when I turn on/off the radio going. But my antenna does nothing whats wrong with that?

I shaved it, but mine was not broken. I also ran the antenna to the top of the roof, and covered it with shark fin.

I plan to shave it unless the S2000 antennas are really cheap. My antenna still works but it stays up since I swapped out my stock headunit for a new one a while back.
