how much should I cut my springs

Cutting a spring will always change the spring rate unless you're cutting off the dead coil.

you list that you have a s13 with full suspension and you ask about cutting springs? someone with that amount of suspension mod should know to never cut springs.

I say just put the wheels on as is. It will look funny, but you'll gain slightly better turn in / handling with the wheels.

damn posted the wheels forsale at 1130am the were sold today by 130pm looks like im picking up some springs and struts thanks guys for your input

hahaha made that mistake when i got my first sc. everyone here made fun of me when i put pictures up, but dont do it dude it will f up everything that has to do with your suspension.

1-1.5 coil off is fine. More than that and you're just changing the spring rates more than you should, and not really going to lower the car at all.

How about not being cheap and get yourself something decent rather than being a potential hazard on the road?

I think its ok to cut the rear, but not front.

I wouldn't ever cut factory springs. But lowering springs that have dead coils you can cut a dead coil off and not change the way it mounts. So its just like buying a lower spring.
