Default Stock exhaust question

I just sold my 97 auto sc300 two weeks ago and picked up a 92 5spd sc300. My question is, how loud is the stock exhaust supposed to be? My auto was fairly quiet but this 92 sounds deep and throaty, almost like a stock g35 or neon srt4 when coming to a stop. I checked under and the resonators are still there. Def. not complaining cus I love how it sounds, just curious.

My '95 5speed with stock exhaust sounds throaty too. Check and see
if the PO installed a high performance filter in your airbox. I looked in
my airbox and found a K&N dropped in there which probably helps.

I've been wondering the same thing, my newest SC300 sounds almost exactly like a g35, the only other stock SC300 I've ever driven was a 97 and it was almost completely soundless, nothing like this 92 sc300.

That's exactly what I thought! LOL I have a 93 5 speed, and I think it has a pretty damn sexy sounding stock exhaust.

The car is just a bit older and worn out. It's normal.

He actually did install a k&n drop in filter. Never heard of a drop in filter making the exhaust sound like that lol. Sounds good tho.

I also have a 95 and it sounds a bit similar to the G35 at low rpms, sounds nice
