pics of my audio.. any thoughts?
7" pioneer double din dvd player
Also a relay switch so I can play movies while driving.. ( i know it's dangerous) lol
Metra double din kit
Optima Yellow Top battery
2 12" Alpine Type R's ( 2 ohm each ) wired parallel
2000w Super Hifonics Mono amplifier
Ported box
Picture sucks, cars dirty i know.. lol just got my phone back and wanted to share
Gonna do a custom fiberglass set up in the trunk.. also gotta get another 2 ohm type R. There is also alternator whine coming from my speakers and i'm pretty sure its the stock amps, so that's next on the list..

it does sound pretty good.. just some rattle that comes from the rear dash and the top of the trunk
when i do my custom box i'm gonna build an air port that comes up from the stock sub area, since there is no way to get air to the subs because of our airtight trunk

Vibrations mostly....just like its not a good idea to leave an amplifier sitting on the trunk floor w/out it being mounted. Circuit board components are extremely sensitive. I know too many people that have left their amps unbolted and called me up wondering why their amps shut off when they hit bumps in the road.
Although it would take a lot to do the same (w/ it bolted to the sub box), the same rule applies, its just generally not a good idea to do it. A small amp connected to a 10" or something, then whatever, it most likely wont do noticeable damage. But I would have never bolted my 2400w audiobahn to my 15" L7 sub box when i was hitting 152dBs...no way in hell.

htat is what I usually do, but the newer in dash's need you to ground the wire twice.. it's complicated
if it was done correctly and to the e-brake, then you would need to pull up on the e-brake twice..
its a feature so people would stop grounding in dash's to watch movies while driving..
