Default Camera mount without a rollcage/harness bar

So I am trying to figure out camera mount in the car without a rollcage or harness bar.

I was thinking some sort of L bracket connected to the seatbelt threaded hole in the b pillar. I also would love to have it mounted farther back too... any ideas?

Do yoy have stock seats or aftermarket? I've seen people create a custom braclet by taking a piece of metal and drilling hole on both end to mount inbetween the headrest and welding. Something to attach to the camera.removeable, durable/cheap, and simple.

Another option is to go with a suction cup mount. Modifry.com has a few mounts you can get ideas from..

I have seen a similar bracket; 1/4"x1.5" plate steel, between 12" and 18" long.
two holes drilled for the headrest rods(?), and one for the bolt to the camera.
take the camera to the hardware store, get a screw that fits the mount, along with a few nuts and washers.
put the bolt thru the hole, and tighten with a nut. add another nut, screw camera on, and use second nut to hold camera in place.
not too good for up-and-down setting, though, and have seen them twist, despite the second nut.
not to mention how bouncy the camera was, but depending on your ingenuity (and camera)0, that can be reduced.

I've had one in the past that goes under the headrest (clamps to the two stalks).

Depending on the camera you use (like a gopro hd for example), suction cup mounts work fine. My wife uses a gopro hd but prefers it on her rollcage.

Another option is to purchase or fab a harness bar and mount it on there. There are harness bars available on ebay for purchase or reference and just take it off when ure driving on the street

My friend has one of those flash light looking camera, he bought a suction cup, sucked it on to the sunroof and attached his camera. It went very well and held on just fine.
