Ok I have a 92 sc300 and my rear window(w/ defroster) got busted out a while back.

I am wondering if one from a 98 sc400 will work. I think it will work but just wanted to make sure before I buy it.

should but just ask the guys at a glass shop if the part number for a 98 is the same as a 92

I know its called an electric backlight. I figured if i called it that, people wouldn't know what I was talking about. lol

Guess I'll have to call the dealer and see if the part number is the same since I can't get it through any aftermarket glass company here. Supposedly it's a dealer only item.
