right now i'm flat broke with winter comming i am having a hard time selling my wheels so i was thinking of taking them to a pawn shop to see what i could get kinda crazy huh?

i was wondering what i should ask for them i was thinking about going in and starting at 2k for the rims and then working my way down to waht i really want just need enough to buy some winter rims and tires

im sure u can part out a few things from your car and pick up a set of g35/350 wheels u can use for the time being. those go for like ~$300 w/ tires

Those are nice rims man, give it a few more days before you try the pawn shop, its like taking a car to the dealers and trying to get good money from it.

i really wont take a loss for the rims at all so as long as i can get some winter rims and tires i am fine i seen the rims i want get next year nowbut cannot afford them

I know from personal experience that pawn shops will do their best to make at least a 200% profit, so unless you picked the wheels up for dirt cheap I would stay away from them since they will low ball you like crazy. Add the fact that there generally isn't much of a market for high dollar wheels in pawn shops and I think it's safe to say you won't have a good experience, unless of course you go to a shop that has experience with wheels. Not trying to discourage you but I would hate to see a fellow member get snaked out of a nice set of wheels. $0.02.

not really worried about the snaking lol i do most of that on my end when it comes to dealing and i know they have to mark up as well.

go look in a junkyard for an sc. lasy year a local junkyard was gonna sell me stock sc rims WITH winter tires on them for $100. Only reason i didnt do it is cuz i park my sc for the winter..

Craigslist is your best friend man, I just picked up two sets of wheels for $175. One set of chrome gs300 no tires and supras w/ winter tires. Old white guys out there have the best deals lol
