Unhappy HELP!! Car struggling to stay on at idle?

Ok, I recently had my engine mounts changed but the way they did it has led to the car turning off at random moments! They put it on a lift then went under with a stick with threads under the engine lifted the engine maybe too high as i saw fluids leak down from over top of the passenger wheel well, I thought it was power steering fluid but with these problems occurring it makes me wonder what that fluid really was?? When I start the car it struggles to idle it seems like its not getting enough gas, even when I'm pressing the pedal to try and give it gas it still is coughing with low power about to cut off and does so after a minute or two. This has just started to happen so that's why I attribute it to the engine mount change. Thanks

Edit: also as soon as I put the car in reverse it's instant shut off??

Its not the engine mounts, it something that they did when getting to them. Always attribute your problem to what you did last on the car. I would take it back to the shop.

Here is what it could be, if it looked like PS fluid check your oil level first, are you getting any engine lights? Also sounds like it could be your TPS sensor, check to see if its unplugged/loose/clean

No engine lights at all! Where is the TPS sensor located?

On your intake, when you shift into any gear your rpms drop so that sounds right. Put a multimeter on your battery and check your alternator output while running.

OK, thanks! I'm about to go out and check that, what should the output be?

It could be your fuel pump ECU. Here is a link on how to do the 12V fuel mod:https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...tures-faq.html. Try it out to see if it works.

Clean your throttle body out with carb/throttle body cleaner, and if it doesn't help, it's probably the IACV.

k. if you're just going to do a temporary fix try gluing it back together and maybe put some silicone on the outside to help it seal better. air will still get through that tape.
