Default Is there any way to lower the car while keeping that stock luxurious feel?

Hey guys I was wondering if there is a way to lower the car while still keeping that smooth stock feel that I love about these cars.

Can I just change the springs?

Yes. This has been covered countless times on here.

Depends on how deep your pockets are. Coilovers is the best way to go, but if you are on a budget just get springs, like Esplier, Tannabe or Eibach.

You wont have a stock ride with springs/shocks or coils. It may range somewhere between comfy and bearable, but wont be stock. I would suggest air ride, but I dont have any experience with that so you may need to do some research. Also, dont opt for the poly bushings if you are wanting a smooth ride. They seem to have a bigger impact than the actual coilovers on the harshness of my ride.

For one thing, if you want to retain a stock ride, you can forget about bigger wheels with low profile tires.

i think my coils feel better than stock too. "luxurious feel" has a different meaning to you than it might for me

I would say air suspension is your best bet. My bro's GS rides real smooth and comfy with his air compared to when he had Tein Flex's. The teins were still pretty nice though, I liked them, but if money is a problem then there are some coils out there that rides pretty good too.

I have espiler springs, stock shocks, standard 16" SC wheels with 55 wall tires and the ride is still not great.

I'm sitting on toms advoxs, comfort wise it's great, still has a little bodyroll, nothing a good swaybar can't fix. I can also adjust firmness or softness by filling them with more/less nitrogen. I'm ready for a little firmer ride, might go with eibach race springs for my coilovers

Megan makes coilovers just for that reason, they're the ones I use and I can't complain at all.
