6000K is about as high as I'd ever go. 8000K is just too blue, too poor visibility, too poor quality, and too dangerous to other motorists. I'll admit that 4100K in kits, though it is the brightest, looks a little yellowish-greenish from head on and is thus not the most asthetically appealing. 6000K looks very OEMish in the SC and is still leagues brighter than the stock lighting system. But alas, that is not good enough for me. The halogen projectors waste a lot of useable light so I'm going to have the 5-series OEM HIDs implanted into my headlights. i am interested in the 5-series headlights too. are you doing it by youself? please keep us all updated on that.
