Default My wheels finally came in today!!

Fronts are 18x8.5 and rears are 18x9.5. Yeah they're XXR's but so what, **** you lol, I only daily drive my car so it doesn't make much difference to me,I also like to believe that the non-universal lug pattern add to the value. Next on the list is a 1JZ-GTE swap

I would spend the money from the unemployment checks on something that's more of a necessity than parts for a car. That's just me though.

I came from a set of XXR's, mine were black and red. Same sizes, I presume the same offsets as well, 35's all around.

They look nice. Are they gold?

If I was unemployed I wouldn't be spending hundreds of
dollars on wheels though. I'll shut up now

I still live at home so things like that aren't really an issue, I'm still semi-responsible with my money. And yeah, 35's all around

Yeah, they're gold and I'm pretty sure the gold is a discontinued color so that makes them sort of rare I suppose?

I would have left the part out about the unemployment checks... Your going to have a whole thread about stuff other than your new wheels.

They look good ready to see them on the car.

Any idea on what size tire you will be running? Are you going to install spacers? Are you currently lowered?

I don't really care, this isn't Club Financial Adviser so it doesn't bother me. And thanks

Unless you're slammed, those are some small tires you plan on running. I ran 245/40's and 275/35's on these.

We know it doesn't bother you. But that statement bothers a lot of people here, he's just letting you know that you'll get a lot of feedback on it. Good luck.

Damn, and I thought mine was bad. I run 215/35 (F) & 235/35 (R) on a
similar wheel size set up. Everytime I hit a pot hole I either replace a tire or
swap on the stockers lol. Show us some pics when you've mounted them and
keep an eye out for craters

I'm near slammed and Idk if I'm running 205/30's for sure yet I'm actually probably going to do 205/45s and 225/45s just to be safe

Also I'm not literally spending my unemployment checks on car parts, the money came from my savings account that I had money going into while I was working. I mentioned the unemployment check to explain why my budget for parts is lower.

LOL @ people constantly apologizing for their purchase xxr wheels. like as if, you MUST spend 2-3k on some expensive wheels, or youre 'not cool'. For daily driving the xxr's are just fine. If anyone bytches about them, tell them to buy you some Leon Hardiritts, or s t f u.

Half the people on inet forums wouldn't how to identify a good/quality wheel if it was right infront their face. Most of these cats buy wheels just beause of the name brand on it, not because they actually know jack about build/quality. it disgusts me.

enjoy your wheels dude..

and focus of what really matters, your engine..
