Default My 2nd Sc400, Starting to mod it tastefully.

Whats happening CL Family?

Just introducing myself.

I am jive new to the club, and wish I had been a member seven years ago when I owned my 1992 Sc400. Too bad, it got totaled in a head on collision and I vowed to replace it with another, which i did three years ago buy buying another Black with tan interior 1995 Sc400. I must have really liked it to buy the same car twice.................Anyhow, I kept the first one all stock.

But this one I plan to mod after three years of owning it. With rims, stereo, tint, black interior, and a 2JZ motor in the future.

It all starts here......

I bought a pair of cheap A>> Tork 18inch 9inch rear, 8inch fronts wheel and tires from wheels next for $1,100.00 which they said were Black with Chrome lip.
Only to get them and they were some kinda cheap Fake Chrome plating on the lips (should have know better for that price).

But, I painted the rotors red (luv that look), and slapped them on cuz it was too much to send them back. Then purchased a set of those Azzela Euro Tail lights which i only like on the Black SC's.

So, I could'nt bare keep the fake chrome wheels too long. So I came across a nice set of 20inch Zenetti Heir 8.5inches all around and sold the Tork wheels.

But they looked a little too gaulty, and I peffered the Staggared look better.

Nice ride man, not my style though. So you painted your rotors for nothing?

Looked better with the black on black IMO, maybe its because the chrome ones look too big for the car.

the first way you had it set up looks like my ride. I have 20" wheels and i took out the rear spoiler.

Thumbs down

I agree. The chrome 20"s look a little donk. It's true what they say that 20"s on 92-96 sc"s look too big without the spoiler kit.
But somehow they don't look too bad in black in the members above pics.
That why I just sold them 4weeks ago, and purchased some more...I'll post pics tomorrow, thanks guys!!!!
