Default AC/Heat Help

When every once in a while I get that blinking AC light and I know that's the compressor. I can just turn it off then turn it back on and its good. Although its been happening a little more frequent but still the same result if I turn it off then back on.

What concerns me is what I come to my heat. It works it blows hot air our the 2 side vents but nothing blows out the middle vents?? I thought maybe the blower but if I turn on the A/C it blows out the middle vents

first step is to check the A/C clutch relay, they go bad all the time. By resetting the A/C it will usually get the relay back in line for a short time till it craps out completely. Best way to check is to bypass the relay with a small jumper and see if the a/c still works. If it does then the relay is done, but if you still have the same issue, then you're compressor is more than likely going out the door....

As for the heat, does it only happen on heat, or does it happen on a/c too? it might be a restriction somewhere in the vents preventing this.
