I'm running Nitto 555's, 245/40-18 on a set of OEM '08 SC430 wheels. Great fitment, doesn't throw off speedo at all, and the Nittos are a very good tire. Good in the wet, great in the dry, good tread life and they're cheap. I like 'em a lot better than the BFGs I had before.

@1willy1 i understand and agree
i just pointed him in a direction because that thread has TONS of info not just a pic of a wheel on a car..
it has tire sizes/rim width/offsets/how much the car is lowered/camber etc
thought it'd be very informative to look over..thats all![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
hell im rereading that thread right now trying to determine how a 19x8 with either a 37mm or 48mm offset would look(cant find the exact specs on these wheels that are locally for sale) and getting lots of info..

awwwww nankangs huh-------i hope u have had better luck with them than I have.
Good luck
I replaced one tire a week after I got them for bubbling up ---it had 100 percent tread left------now my rear one is bubbled up--after having a slow leak for months-----and now my back left one seems to have a very aggresive leak----which im sure will bubble up soon if i dont replace it.
3-4 tires ---75 percent failure rate ------sucks
oh and at least one of my front tires has a slow leak as well

It doesn't really matter because I have to buy new ones every couple of months with the amount of camber that I run. I haven't had problems though other than that haha.
But as of now I have like 85% tread left on the outside but about 20% on the inner on the rear. And 100 bucks for a new tire that stretches just fine isn't too bad for me :P

I just ordered another one for my rear-----didnt pay for it yet-------and it was 198 dollars installed. Plus taxes.
They said for another 30 bucks per tire I can get TOYO'S. Are these toyos a higher quality tire or is the difference negligable.
Thanks man.

Stock 5 spoke chrome 99 GS300 16" wheels on my 98.
Why?
They go nicely with the curves of the body of the car since the wheel is curvacious as well.
The stock tire size is retained and premium Michelin tires cost under $150 each in 16 inch size. Ride stays comfortable, silent, and still not too cushy.
I have 245/40/18 on another car and driving the SC is a treat because it is so smoothy and comfy in comparison.
