with the car being a manual '96 sc300 will it be difficult to drop a 1jz or 2jz in it compared to let say '92 sc3?
what kind of wiring work will it need, i am **** about everything working properly

I don't know the details, but yes. There will be more CEL's to deal with. As far as what specific CEL's or specific mechanical things, you'll have to wait for a response or do some research..

A couple people have done this, but I think they were forced to go OBDI conversion. If you are in a plug-in emissions state (like me
) you are going to have a difficult, if not impossible, time getting it smogged. I will try to find the threads related to it since I am a nice guy
