This is why there is such poor technical information on this forum. People who don't know **** jump in and sidetrack things to where there's nothing that can be gained from the original argument. The OP posted about the merits of swapping in a lexus 5.0 IS-F motor. NOT buying an IS-F, a corvette, or anything. We're talking about an engine swap. So why the hell were we talking about ring times? Why are we continuing to bash the guy? Why are we talking about car brands? This is about an ENGINE SWAP so all discuss should be focused on is the swap reasonable, does he have alternatives. That's it. This whole thread has reflected pretty poorly on a lot of people :thumbdown:
