Keep it silver! It's way too much work to keep a black car clean. I hate my black SC for this very reason and you can see EVERY single scratch on a sunny day.

in all honestly your getting simple good answers..now if you really want to take the time and money to do it RIGHT..then by all means go for it..
but dont half *** it..if you dont plan to pull the engine and do the bay along with door jams trunk etc..then i say stick with silver for sure..
if ur willing to do it all..either way it'll look great

thats a negative on pulling the engine.


platinum metallic it is.


2 week waiting list but im in line at least. said its 2 or 3 days prep work and a one week job.

i guess that sounds right. ill just be glad once all the nicks are out and the qtr panel is fixed. drives me nuts.

anyone know where to find that strip above the sideskirt on the passengers side?

i added the skirt but still missing a piece i wasnt aware of.

If you want a quicksilver transition is doable. And looks damn hot.

That's the door molding. You can find them in the classifieds here or contact Aliga, et al.

FYI, they are ridiculously expensive for what they are

Im very happy to see everyone advising the OP to keep the color original.

It really is the proper way to do it.

Changing the color is kind of butchering the car in a way----unless maybe you do it properly and do the engine bay, inside the door panels, under the trunk etc........than maybe.
