Default Should I leave it original color?

Just got the replacement sideskirt and has some bodywork needing to be done so Im going to go ahead with the paint. lots of small nicks and rear qtr panel has to be replaced.

Can't decide if I should leave it the same or black. I love both colors actually.

Interior is black. Everything is currently stock minus a few things but thats about to change. Figured Id paint if before deciding on wheels.

What say you.

you can see the previous owner had a problem with peripheral vision:

Just leave it the same color. Doing a color change the right way is big bucks and you still might not be happy with the work.

^^ what he said, besides doubt you'll be wanting to go through the hassle of painting the door hinges and engine bay so i'd leave it, platinum on black looks nice anyway, its no 240 or honda that you can paint over it and no one will care, it's just not the lexus way

If it were green or light blue, I might consider it, but silver is a nice neutral color that most people seem to like...

got a friend of mine who paints at a quality shop so he will be doing all the grunt work and making everything right--i hope. so the work isnt too much of an issue.

but i was already leaning on keeping it the same. I had a mint silver 300z which i loved until I had a bad day which ended all that.

there arent many sc's in this state. ive seen maybe a handful over the years. and its usually just an old woman driving it. i had to fly to texas to get this one.

i was just asking since i loved a black sc400 i almost bought before i found this one (which is an sc3). if it were green id paint it regardless.

I have the same issue, sliver with black interior. I am going to keep it silver, to much cash to go black. You could use the money else where.

Unless you plan to pull the motor and paint the bay, Keep it silver, I've always liked that colour

definitely leave it..i know you say it'll be done right if u did change..but really want to spend that extra to pull the engine and do the bay correctly etc..
plus like others have mentioned the color is nice and neutral..and looks good imo

also black shows the most flaws and is hard to keep clean..it does look great but just something to note..

however if i were to change colors on any car..id definitely do like a dark grey/silver
ive been dying to own a car that color but never find one when im shopping

i knew the right answer but was expecting black to be the majority vote to maybe push me over the edge.

damn i was depending on less rational answers.
