I don't ! maybe it's because im driving mine [rhd] & the wife's [lhd] most day's?
That earlier comment about driving a rhd in the US,is a croc of shiite......keep ya distance/don't overtake last minute,& if you don't get a green arrow on turnin left, then don't bother unless it's clear, your takin a risk otherwise here in the US,cos you just can't see over these big *** trucks anyway!
Strangely enough i take more right hand turns fa sum reason, which is in my favour........

I just moved to Japan and again I'm lookin to get soarer here.
dunno much about soarer version but which one you think I should get?
I'm only allowed to drive AT here. what does UZZ32's 4ws stand for?
I think used soarer is much cheaper than US.

EMV - Touch screen TV with controls for A/C, fuel comp, etc
3D Digital Speedo
Air suspension, adjustable height on most V8's
100's of options, the list seems inexhaustable but includes,
Rear mounted reversing camera for TV screen display.
LCD auto dipping rearview mirror
Heated & sonic shaker side mirrors
Sonic parking aid - rear
Telescopic parking aid - front
Blah, Blah, Blah.

And last but not least the 2.5TT.

Well, we hate to **** YOU overseas guys off, but what does all that extra equipment do?.....just add weight.

Wow! forgot all about this thread, seemed sooooo long ago.
I could go on all day about this subject, but the point is the v8 is a luxury cruiser/made for comfort.
[ This car has class/charm/character, its not a childs car!! ]
If you want speed go for the strip down version= 2.5TT/ equiv US = 3.0

Well, better yet, if people want this kind of performance, why buy a Lexus at all? As you point out, Lexus is primarily a luxury/sport nameplate. Even the IS300 is quite civilized and refined. There are cars that are specifically designed and built for aggreessive driving, like the Corvette, Dodge Viper, Honda S2000, Porsches, M-cars, etc......

No worries, the 2.5 Twin Turbo takes the extra weight quite well, in fact mine needed another 150lb in the boot (trunk) to assist with traction and still pulled a sub 6sec 0-60mph, the V8 is a bit sluggish in comparison.

Unfortunately here in Dallas the faster you go, the quicker you die! peeps just seem to have a death wish!
Cannot tell you on a daily basis the accidents + near misses i see, its scary.........I saw a police car on the motor way in the fast lane, & a truck just refused to move out of the way!!!!!! [ doing 50mph] Its common practice to under take[blind side].....i don't know if its poor training/drivin skills or just plain dumb!
Every night the tv news tells of pile ups & deaths just here in plano, where i live.
I was picking my daughter up from the precinct whilst telling her i had just seen in the car park an SUV reverse out of its P space, straight into another SUV, whilst we were both laughing about it, a hummer reverses straight out of it P space straight into us, giving us no time to brake,so i managed to swerve, just into an empty parkin space!!!! arrrrrghhh
Oops sorry OFF thread....
